Walk through the eight tutorials; it will take you all of 30 minutes.
I say Silverlight absolutely blows Web development out of the water. You’d have to be crazy to program in ASP.NET or JSP after Silverlight is released.
Game over. Lights out. Go home.
This is transformative technology.

Ward I just watched your webcast of ideablade EF and the MS entity framework. I see that a beta of IdeaBlade EF is available. Does Silverlight 2.0 beta have enough that you could do a Silverlight version of the cabana demo yet ?
